Purpose-Driven Events in Oregon

Our B Learning Lunch series is a way for current B Corps, aspiring B Corps, and enthusiasts to connect by sharing knowledge and resources. On the last Thursday of every month, we gather at Hopworks Urban Brewery at noon and invite local experts to speak on a specific topic to connect over learning something new and relevant to our community.

When: Last Thursday of the month at 12pm-1:30pm
Where: Hopworks Urban Brewery

Workshops and networking for Portland entrepreneurs that feature keynote speakers who share expertise on building community, sustainable business practices, etc.

When: Second Wednesdays at 6:30pm-8:30pm
Where: Studio Northwest

Development Drinks is a monthly gathering of people interested in international development. This social event is meant to be a chance to connect with others and to learn about the work of GlobalPDX members.

When: Second Wednesdays at 5:30pm and 6pm-8pm

Did you know Portland is home-base to many amazing international development non-profits? To celebrate the incredible international work being done right here our city, the WorldOregon Young Professionals are hosting their seventh-annual NGO showcase! Each year we highlight 12-15 international development organizations giving our dynamic community of internationally minded folks like you the opportunity to learn about their work, get inspired, get involved, network, and socialize.

When: Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 6pm-6pm

Consultants who serve the nonprofit sector, want to connect with their peers and form business connections with other consultants. This includes current NAO Business Affiliate Members, as well as those interested in joining NAO’s network to serve and further support the vital work that nonprofits deliver in our communities. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect and network with your peers!

The Technology Association of Oregon (TAO) is pleased to announce its first annual Hack For A Cause event in Portland Oct. 19-20 at Portland State University. The event is a platform for the local tech community to offer their expertise to solve challenges in our community. Participants of various skills and backgrounds are invited to register, join a team, and compete to solve challenges for prizes.
